Enterprise AI platform unifying model and agent development, deployment, and governance across any environment
ServiceNow AI Control Tower
A single command center to discover, observe, govern, secure and measure enterprise AI
What ServiceNow AI Control Tower does
ServiceNow AI Control Tower is a centralized command center for governing, managing, securing and measuring AI agents, models and workflows across the enterprise, both those built on the ServiceNow platform and third-party systems. Launched at Knowledge 2025 and substantially expanded at Knowledge 2026, it is organized around five capabilities: Discover, Observe, Govern, Secure and Measure. Discovery uses a growing library of enterprise integrations, spanning AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, SAP, Oracle and Workday, to build an inventory of AI assets wherever they run. Observe adds continuous monitoring with live metrics and alerts, deepened by the Traceloop acquisition for runtime agent observability. Secure extends identity and access governance into hyperscaler AI environments and can detect and shut down an agent operating beyond its permissions in real time. Measure supplies cost tracking and ROI dashboards to control model spend. On the compliance side, ServiceNow has been adding risk frameworks aligned to NIST and the EU AI Act. Positioned for large enterprises already running ServiceNow for ITSM, security and GRC, AI Control Tower is distinctive for treating agent lifecycle management, runtime enforcement and financial governance as one connected control plane rather than separate tools.
Key capabilities
- Cross-enterprise AI asset discovery
- Continuous agent and model observability
- Real-time detection and shutdown of off-script agents
- Identity and access governance for hyperscaler AI
- Cost tracking and ROI dashboards
- Pre-built NIST and EU AI Act risk frameworks
Best for
Large enterprises standardized on ServiceNow that want to inventory, monitor and enforce controls over AI agents and models across many external systems from one console.
Limitations
Best value assumes an existing ServiceNow footprint, and the rapidly expanding feature set is newer than some pure-play governance tools, so depth varies across the five capability areas.
Framework coverage
| Framework | Type | Supported |
|---|---|---|
| EU AI Act | Regulation | Yes |
| NIST AI RMF | Voluntary framework | Yes |
